When the FEI World Championships arrive in Herning in august 2022 we are happy to offer free entry at Museum Midtjylland for ticket holders.
Free entry for ticket holders
Ticket holders for the World Championships – Herning 2022 can show their ticket at the entrance to Tekstilmuseet (The Textile Museum) and Herningsholm Museum and get free entrance to the exhibitions. The offer stands from 6th-14th august.

Tekstilmuseet
At Tekstilmuseet you can get close to the history of the textile industry in Central Jutland. Experience how the industry radically changed the area from the 1950s and onwards. in the old factory halls you can get an insight into an industry that dressed people all around the world and made the area well known globally.
Children can get to work at the Children’s factory and the scent of grease and noise from the large machines still fill the halls of the old spinning mill on selected days. Here, the old machines still produce textile products for the museum’s shop.

Herningsholm Museum
Herningsholm Museum is located in Herning’s oldest building from 1579. At the old manor you can explore life on the heath and the important role it played in the textile industry, which later came to characterise the area.
At Herningsholm Museum you can get close to the author Steen Steensen Blicher, experience the evocative paintings of the heath painters or study the manor’s beautiful rooms and old murals up close.

Gratis entré for alle med billet til VM
Til august er Herning centrum for VM i ridesport, hvor der dystes i spring, dressur, paradressage og Voltigering.
I forbindelse med eventet tilbyder vi gratis entré til Tekstilmuseet og Herningsholm Museum til alle med en billet til VM i perioden 6.-14. august.
